In this part Maleeka got into a fight with Daphene.The reason they had a fight was because Daphene thought that Maleeka was kissing her boyfriend Worm ,but that was not Maleeka it was Charlese. Maleeka knew that Daphene wanted a fight so Daphene grabbed Maleeka's braids and started punching Maleeka with them then Miss Saunders came and Maleeka was about to smack Daphene , but Miss Saunders grabbed her hand and said cut it out. Then Daphene raised her hand with the heavy ring that worm gave to her had on it and smacked her hand across Maleeka's face. Maleeka's face was swelling up she could feel the blood oozing through her cheek and then Daphene gobbled up a glob of green snot spit then that globed flew on Maleeka's face!!

If I were Maleeka at this moment i would of messed Daphene up because , one she is accusing me of something i never knew then I would of messed Charlese up because shr was just standing there eating a chocolate bar like nothing was going on and then when i got spit on she was the first one out of the whole crowd to start cracking up instead of trying to ignore trouble and saying Daphnee don't fight it wasn't Maleeka it was me or Daphnee who wasn't giving me a chance to explain who it really was which is STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In school Maleeka asked Char did she bring her any clothes. Char kicked the bag to Maleeka and the clothes that Char bought Maleeka were a tight jean jumper. But one day when Maleeka went home , her mom was at the window with a big smile on her face , she told Maleeka that she got a bonus on her check and finally got some extra money to throw around , so Maleeka got some shirts , some pants , and enough lip gloss to shine rims on a car. When she went to school and she was walking down the hallway strutting her stuff and everyone was looking at her. When she got to Miss Saunders class Char had to put Maleeka on the spot and said your momma finally got you some new clothes.

I think the relationship between Char and Maleeka are unusual because their friendship is on and off. It is like one day Char is giving Maleeka really expensive clothes and the next day Char is dissing Maleeka really bad and then it repeats everyday over and over again

Esperanza is a girl who has moved every year and she never skipped a year she would move to north Carolina in 2004,in 2005 she would move to Bronx and so on. when she moved to a really not so beautiful house on mango street everything go's wrong. The house has one washroom ( bathroom)one bedroom their living room is smaller than the bathroom. She is embarrassed for people to see her house for example she goes to a Catholic school and sister Samantha came to go speak to her mom and when she saw her house the sister open her mouth so wide a fly can go in it she looked surprised also shocked the sister walked away real quickly like she never saw nothing.

If I were Esperanza at this moment i would walk to her and ask her what is the matter i thought you had to talk to my mom and tell her that some people can't afford luxury condos and big houses with pools and backyards with little play parks in it. I would also tell that this is all my mom could afford and i like it just the way it is and no one cares how shocked or surprised she is and no one cares about her rude opinion.
